Mommy and Mirabel Monday

Today started out pretty well. Mirabel took a little nap in the morning,  played on her playmat and sucked on her fingers.

Then we got dressed and went out to meet up with Calliope and her mom Sonya.

Mmmm .... burritos....

Then, after a walk around the Junction it was home for Mirabel and me.  She napped, I napped, and then she woke up screaming.  After about ten minutes of that, she fell asleep again. And again, woke up screaming.  Third time being a charm, she fell asleep in my arms, again. This time, she didn't wake up until Daddy and Grandma came home.  And did *not* wake up screaming.  She did, however, have a very serious look on her face ... until she threw up all over Daddy about an hour later.  A change of clothes later, she was happy baby, kicking and laughing. And pulling out her NG tube. Sigh .... more vomit when we tried to get it back in.

Now she's just hanging out with Daddy for a bit before we swaddle her up and stick the thing back down her throat.

These are the days of our lives.

How cute is this girl! I just found your blog through someone else's and yes Mirabel is painfully adorable! She looks like she is doing so good, and so much bigger than when I saw her at the meeting feb.1st! She must have amazing parents :) Hang in there with the tube, it gets better! How are the feeds going? We're headed to Seattle for an eye appt. on the 22nd, and then again in May!
